Operation Restoration provides comprehensive reintegration services for Upstate South Carolina Veterans that result in transitional and permanent housing opportunities, career exploration and employment assistance, counseling referrals, and Upstate Stand Down services.
Our vision is to collaborate with Veteran organizations and community stakeholders to ensure that Upstate South Carolina Veterans are thoroughly reintegrated and thriving in healthy community environments that acknowledge and appreciate the sacrifices they have made to keep America and our allies safe.

Dr. Sandra Ford
Dr. Sandra Y. Ford serves as the Executive Director and President for Operation Restoration. She is responsible for grant procurement, research, grant writing, monitoring, and reporting on federal, state, and local grant opportunities. Dr. Ford is actively engaged in capacity building initiatives with community-based stakeholders for strategic partnerships, and opportunities for Operation Restoration.


Deborah Eadie
Deborah J. Eadie is the Senior Pastor and Founder of New Testament Church and Operation Restoration. She has served in several capacities including Chairperson on the Board of Operation Restoration. Before pastoring at New Testament Church, she was in full-time ministry at the former Evangel Cathedral. Deborah Eadie received her B.S. in Business Administration from Voorhees University and an Associate in Biblical Studies from Evangel Bible College.
David Jewel
David Jewel attended school at Meramec Community College and served
as a torpedoman 2nd class for the US Navy. After retiring from research work for Pfizer Inc and GlaxoSmithKline for over 40 years, David has now served as the face of Operation Restoration since 2019.

Phillip Makowski
Phillip Makowski served in the USAF during the Vietnam War for 4 years before working as a registered radiologic technician and salesman. Phillip has received a B.S. in Business Management and an MDiv in Theology. He now serves as a board member at Operation Restoration and assists the Upstate Stand-Down event supported by Operation Restoration.

Dee Moody
Dee Moody has earned a BA, M.Urban Education, an MPH (M.Public Health), Divinity and a Ed.D. She has worked with various City and State agencies in housing, housing development, and developed educational programs for youth. Trained by the CDC (Center for Disease Control) to deal with community health issues and certified, she offers consulting to various organizations and businesses.
